Y Stereo is a high energy pop/rock band that started only a year ago but has already managed to make massive strides in the music industry. The bands combination of raw talent in music and songwriting as well as business and marketing has proven to be the perfect formula for independently taking their careers to the top . In a short time Y STEREO's hook filled songs and relative lyrics have put the power trio in high demand amongst young music lovers and made it possible for the band to be seen with full page magazine highlights and featured on some of the industries leading web sites all before their first year comes to a close. 

Since forming the band recorded a full length album at lead singer and songwriter Jonas Friedman's studio. The record was mastered by Grammy award winning engineer Brian Gardner at Bernie Grundman's Mastering Facility in Hollywood, CA. Since it's mid summer completion, the debut album entitled "What's Real Anyway" has been picked up for world wide distribution with industry leading music retailer iTunes as well as being added to other respected digital catalogs in the U.S. including Amazon Mp3, Napster, Emusic and more. 

This fall and winter Purevolume.com (one of new music's biggest discovery and promotional websites) will be teaming up with Y STEREO and featuring both the band and their debut album in early November and December of this year! Y STEREO also has recorded 3 acoustic video's exclusively for Purevolume.com to feature and highlight during their upcoming promotions. On top of all the bands attention from Purevolume, this November Y STEREO will also be seen on one of the independent music biggest buzz sites, Absolutepunk.net and is proud to be highlighted with a full page in the upcoming January issue of Alternative Press Magazine hitting stores nation wide December 1st 2009!
